RA MEDICAL SYSTEMS TO PRESENT AT 2018 BIOTECH SHOWCASE

Ra Medical Systems, makers of excimer lasers and catheters for cardiovascular and dermatological diseases, announced in early January that the Company’s CEO and Chief Technology Officer, Dean Irwin, will present at the 10th Annual Biotech Showcase, taking place on Jan. 8 -10, 2018, in San Francisco.

Ra Medical Systems’ groundbreaking, first-of-its-kind catheter and excimer laser system, DABRA (Destruction of Arteriosclerotic Blockages by laser Radiation Ablation), treats Peripheral Artery Disease, the leading cause of limb amputations. Compared to other treatments for arterial blockages, DABRA, which received FDA market clearance in May 2017 and began treating patients in June 2017, has shorter procedure times, better patient outcomes and is less expensive.

Irwin will present an overview of Ra Medical’s business, technology and strategic growth objectives and is available to participate in one-on-one meetings with members of the financial and media community.

The largest international biotech investor conference in the world, Biotech Showcase brings together life sciences decision-makers and investors from across the globe to collaborate and discuss industry trends through panels, workshops and fireside chats. Additional information and registration can be found here: https://ebdgroup.knect365.com/biotech-showcase/.

Its flagship product, Pharos, launched in 2004 and revolutionized the dermatology world with its technology and affordable business model for greater patient access to treatment. Today, Ra Medical Systems continues to make history as DABRA transforms endovascular therapy, saving patients’ limbs and lives. VTN
