Dr. Laura B. Ellis is dedicated to the evaluation and treatment on venous disease and varicose veins. She is the founder of Asheville Vein Center which was established in 2003 as one of the first comprehensive vein surgery centers in the United States. Dr. Ellis did her residency in General Surgery at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, Spartanburg, South Carolina. She received her medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine, Chapel Hill, NC after graduating Magna Cum Laude in Biochemistry from North Carolina State University, Raleigh, North Carolina.
