Dr. Ronald Bush is Board Certified in four surgical specialties: surgery, thoracic surgery, general vascular surgery and laser surgery. His knowledge and skill as a surgeon qualify him as a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Bush trained in general surgery at Indiana University, and completed his vascular fellowship at Baylor University and his cardiothoracic fellowship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. He is the author of numerous scientific papers and holds patents for surgical instruments—he designed and developed with Pilling Corp., a valvulotome for in-situ vein bypass grafts (patent number 5139506). For the past nine years, Dr. Bush has devoted his practice solely to the treatment of venous disease. Because of that dedication, he is a national leader in the field of vein therapy and has one of the largest vein centers in the country. Dr. Bush and his staff have performed more than 6,000 venous surgeries in the office setting to date, and have performed over 2,500 ELAS procedures with no complications and a 98% success rate. Physicians throughout the world have visited and have been trained by Dr. Bush. Many of the new procedures now performed in the ambulatory treatment of varicose veins have originated in part from his clinical studies. Dr. Emery W. Dilling, MD, FACS, has practiced with Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeons since 1980. Dr. Dilling specialized in adult Cardiothoracic Surgery before specializing currently in minimally invasive treatment of varicose veins, including laser and sclerotherapy treatments. Dr. Dilling received his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma, where he also completed an internship and two residencies. He completed a fellowship at the Veterans’ Administration Hospital followed by General Surgery and Thoracic Surgery residencies at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, where he served as chief resident of surgery. Dr. Dilling is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Heart Association. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. He has also held various leadership positions including President of the American Heart Association. He is an active member of the Texas Medical Association, Society of Thoracic Surgeons, Travis County Medical Society, and the Southern Thoracic Surgical Association. Dr. Laura Ellis is the founder of the Asheville Vein Clinic, a center devoted to the evaluation and treatment of venous disease and varicose veins. Because she started one of the first comprehensive vein surgery centers in the United States, Dr. Ellis is considered a pioneer in the field. Her clinic also includes a Medical Spa for aesthetic treatments. Dr. Ellis received her medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine, and did her residency in general surgery at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center in South Carolina. Dr. Ellis touts the importance of the field by saying, “We find it rewarding to help people to both look and feel better. Dr. John Kingsley, MD, FACS, RVT, is doubly Board Certified in general surgery and vascular surgery. He is one of only 3,000 surgeons in the U.S. to have achieved Certification in Vascular Surgery, and one of only 1,000 to be re-certified in that specialty. He is also an RVT, completing certification exams in Registered Vascular Technology. Dr. Kingsley received his Bachelor of Science Degree and Doctor of Medicine Degree from the University of Florida. He completed his surgery training at the Bethesda Naval Hospital, and served three years as an active Navy surgeon. Dr. Kingsley founded the Alabama Vascular & Vein Center, one of the first of its kind. He is now the Chairman of the Board and Chief Medical Director for Vein Associates of America, as well as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the Society of Vascular Surgery and the Australian College of Phlebology, where he was the keynote speaker in 2007. Finally, Dr. Kingsley has published and presented over 75 scientific treatises over the years to colleagues in the United States and internationally. He has given invited presentations in China, Germany, Australia, Japan, and Taiwan.

Dr. Edward Mackay, MD is a specialist in the field of phlebology. He was the first physician in the state of Florida to offer VNUS® Closure. He is also the Co-Director of the International Vein Congress, a major conference for vascular specialists. Dr. Mackay received his Medical Degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine and completed a residency in general surgery and a fellowship in vascular surgery. He is on staff at Largo Medical Center and is an affiliate staff member at Morton Plant Mease Hospitals. Dr. Mackay provides training services in vein treatment procedures to physicians throughout the US and internationally. He also has contributed to the success of endovenous laser ablation by developing a special technique that minimizes superficial phlebitis associated with EVLT. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Member of the American College of Phlebectomy, the American College of Phlebology, and a member of the American Medical Association, the Florida Medical Association, the Pinellas Medical Society, and the Florida Vascular Society, American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.

Dr. Deborah Manjoney, a Diplomate of both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery, has specialized for 18 years in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery. She opened the Wisconsin Vein Center and MediSpa in 2002 to offer a broad range of non-invasive and minimally invasive state-of-the-art services. The vein, laser and skin care center provides on-premise varicose vein treatments, skin rejuvenation through laser and light therapy, permanent hair reduction, Botox injections, wrinkle treatments, cellulite and body contouring treatments and a variety of aesthetic procedures. Dr. Manjoney was one of the first physicians to offer the revolutionary Endovenous Laser Treatment to eliminate varicose veins. She takes a proactive approach to vein therapy. Dr. Julio A. Rodriguez-Lopez, MD, FACS is Board Certified in general surgery, as well as the Medical Director of the Wound Healing Center at the Arizona Heart Institute (AHI). At AHI, Dr. Rodriguez is the Director of Peripheral Vascular Services and program director for both the Peripheral Fellowship Program and the Endovascular Training Courses for physicians. He is known for his expertise in peripheral and endovascular techniques. Dr. Rodriguez received bachelor’s degree from the University of Puerto Rico and his medical degree from Central East University, San Pedro de Macoris, in the Dominican Republic.
