VCA adds clinic to Cleveland area PDF Print E-mail
Vein Clinics of America (VCA), a wholly owned subsidiary of IntegraMed America Inc., has opened its second Ohio office in Beachwood, a Cleveland-area suburb. This is VCA’s 34th location in the United States.

Vein Clinics of America (VCA), a wholly owned subsidiary of IntegraMed America Inc., has opened its second Ohio office in Beachwood, a Cleveland-area suburb. This is VCA’s 34th location in the United States.

Sonja Stiller, MD, practicing physician at VCA’s new office, stated: “Myself and the rest of the staff at Beachwood are excited to be a part of the VCA team and look forward to offering patients in the greater Cleveland area the latest in minimally invasive techniques for diagnosing and treating their chronic vein problems. All procedures are performed in our state-of-the-art facility, requiring no hospitalization or surgery, allowing patients to be back on their feet the same day.”

The new office is located at  2000 Auburn Dr. The center can be reached by calling 800-660-8346 or through www.veinclinics.com.

VCA has more than 25 years of experience in the vein care field, specializing in all aspects of vein disease. VCA offers a comprehensive and non-surgical treatment approach using sclerotherapy injection treatment in conjunction with endovenous laser treatment (ELT). VCA’s use of sclerotherapy in combination with ELT allows physicians to treat the smallest spider veins to the largest varicose veins, including leg ulcers. All procedures are performed in the VCA office with no surgery or post hospitalization required.

Ted King, MD, VCA’s national medical director, said the company is pleased to bring its suite of vein care treatments to patients in the greater Cleveland area.

“Based on our market and demographic research, the greater Cleveland area has a substantial population of prospective patients that are currently underserved in their vein care needs,” Dr. King said.

“Beachwood is our second new facility opening in Ohio in the past three months, putting us on track to open five to six new VCA locations across the U.S. during 2009. Our new location in Cincinnati is off to a strong start, providing us confidence in overall demand for vein care services in the greater Ohio region.

“Dr. Stiller and her team are highly accomplished professionals dedicated to offering the best in chronic venous disorder treatment and overall patient care. We have already started our new patient marketing efforts for Beachwood and very much look forward to introducing Dr. Stiller and her colleagues to the greater Cleveland community.”

Established in 1981, VCA is the largest medical group in the country dedicated to the non-surgical treatment of vein disorders. The physicians of VCA specialize in treating the entire spectrum of vein abnormalities, including varicose veins, spider veins, venous leg ulcers, facial veins, hand veins, Klippel-Trenaunay Syndrome and Restless Legs Syndrome resulting from venous reflux.
