Albert D. Sam II, a board certified vascular surgeon, received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Duke University.  His general surgery residency was completed at the University of Illinois in Chicago that included a research fellowship in cardiovascular physiology.  He served a two-year fellowship in general vascular and endovascular surgery at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago.  He joined Vascular Surgery Associates in 2003.
