Dr. Kingsley is doubly Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery. He became Board Certified in General Surgery soon after his training by completion of written and oral examinations. He later became Board Certified in Vascular Srugery when the American Board designated this a seperate specialty. This too required successful completion of additional written examinations, and Dr. Kingsleyhas successfully been re-certified twice in General Surgery and once in Vascular Surgery.

He is one of approximately 3,000 surgeons in the U.S. to have achieved Certification in Vascular Surgery, and one of about 1000 to have successfully completed the Vascular re-certification examinations. Dr. Kingsley is also an RVT, having completed the examinations for Registered Vascular Technology by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.

Dr. Kingley serves as the Chairman on the Board and Chief Medical Director for Vein Associates of America while continuing to treat patients and Vein Associates' Birmingham, AL location.
